August 28, 2014 as part of the International scientific-practical conference "The Orenburg region - the heart of Eurasia" in Orenburg will be presented an exhibition "Four capitals" dedicated to Orenburg, Kyzyl-Orda, Alma-Ata and Astana.
This spring the Orenburg Fund "Eurasia" has learned that the State Archive of Kazakhstan together with the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is preparing an exhibition of documents and photographs "Three Capitals - three fates" of the Kazakh capital. On the proposal of the Russians the exposition has been included a section dedicated to Orenburg, which from 1920 to 1925 was the first capital of the Kirghiz (Kazakh) SSR. The exposition contains materials from the State Archive of the Orenburg region and photographs from the collection of "Eurasia".
