
History and culture: The exhibition “Treasures of the spiritual heritage” dedicated to the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan in Moscow
August 21, 2014 at the State Central Museum of Contemporary History of Russia (Moscow) opened the exhibition project "Treasures of the spiritual heritage", dedicated to the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan in Moscow.
The exposition "Treasures of the spiritual heritage" is based on documents from the Department of Manuscripts of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan. The exhibition features manuscripts of the XVI - early XX centuries: Kul Gali "Tale of Joseph", Muhammedyar "Rays of Hearts", fragments of the manuscript of the Koran; book of Tatar theologians, scientists, poets and writers, published at the end of the XIX - beginning of XX centuries: Gabdulla Tukai, Gayaz Iskhaki, Shigabutdin Marjani, including exhibited original photos of Kazan of late XIX - early XX centuries.
The exposition "My gentle and sad Saz": tools of the peoples of Tatarstan" introduces the variety of traditional musical instruments of the peoples of the Volga region. The exhibits of the XII - the first half of the XX century, carefully selected from the ethnographic and archaeological collections.
