Culture and authority: The plan of the state program “Development of Culture and Tourism” approved

Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev approved plan for implementation of the state program "Development of Culture and Tourism" in 2014 and the planning period of 2015 and 2016. The corresponding decree was published on August 15 at the website of the Government of Russia.

The plan contains a list of the most important socially significant milestones of the state program, the dates of execution and responsible persons and consists of routines "Heritage", "Art", "Tourism" and "Ensuring conditions of the Program".

It is planned a restoration of a number of significant cultural heritage sites in the regions, the national film industry, holding a large musical, theatrical forums and festivals, tourism organization of conferences, Russia's participation in international forums on tourism. Sub-program "Ensuring conditions of the Program" regulates the development of legislation in the sphere of culture.

The plan also includes key activities of the federal target programs "Culture of Russia (2012-2018)" and the "Development of domestic tourism in the Russian Federation (2011-2018 years)".
