Libraries and conferences: The World Library and Information Congress and the 80th General Conference and Assembly IFLA in Lyon

The World Library and Information Congress and the 80th General Conference and Assembly IFLA are held in Lyon (France) on 16-22 August 2014.

Conference Theme: "Libraries, citizens, society: the confluence for knowledge".

The conference brought together experts from around the world to exchange ideas, share experiences, to present for discussion of new information technologies and achievements in librarianship. The forum is attended by the Presidential Library delegation.

In the days of the conference it will be held an exhibition, which will show the latest developments in the field of library and information technology and the newest edition in print and electronic form.
