Information Technology and Society: "Digital Future 2014!" International Festival In Barnaul

"Digital Future - 2014!" International Festival takes place in Barnaul (Altai Territory) from the 11th to the 17th of August 2014.

"Altai Digital Week" goes as a part of the Altai regional stage of the Festival, consisting of a complex of expertise, practical, educational activities with purpose to identify current trends and innovative approaches in the field of information technology, and to build a constructive dialogue between public and commercial sector, public and nonprofit organizations.

The events of Digital Week are intended to draw the attention of the authorities and public figures, experts and the media to the innovative potential of the Altai Territory, to demonstrate the achievements, identify long-term and immediate priorities for socio-economic development of the region, to create conditions for the regions breakthrough in the field of information and communication technologies, and also in business undertakings, including social enterprise.

A special festival feature is that this forum connects professionals in the field of information and communication technologies along with an important propaganda tool for the development of information society to the very "end users" - the usual people.
