Information technology and museums: The exhibits from the M. A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve digitized

In the M. A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve (the Rostov region) are holding works on the digitization of exhibits for the creation of the virtual tour.

This is one of the stages of the full-scale digitization of cultural heritage objects of the Russian Federation, which the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation implements as part of the Presidential Decree №597 May 7, 2012 and the state program “Information Society (2011-2020)”.

As a result of the digitization of memorial objects in 2D and 3D-formats will be developed a virtual tour of the house and manor of M. A. Sholokhov http://eyera.dev.armd.ru/sholohov/sholokhova_museum.html and the web users will be able to see objects of the memorial collection, to learn their history.

The project also includes the creation of video materials about the museum, the video collection about the museum collection, audio tours.
