Information technology and culture: The Virtual Library with hundreds of books of Russian writers appeared in the center of Krasnodar

In Krasnodar the first “mobile library” that allows for free download on smart phone more than 300 works of Russian classical literature appeared on the main street.  

“At the special stand in a circle are located titles of literary names. To download the book on the smart phone or a tablet is possible in one touch using technology QR-scanning through 3G”, - the press service of the city administration states. 

The educational project is aimed primarily at young audience and is designed to raise the interest of Krasnodar citizens to the Russian classics. 

In the nearest time a similar library stands are planned to be placed in a few lively places of Krasnodar.

Mobile libraries are being actively developed in Russia and Belorussia. Virtual stands are installed in 30 Russian cities.
