Museums and Society: "The Museums of Russia. The XX century’s outcome. Reflection" II Siberian Museum Forum in Krasnoyarsk

"Museums of Russia. Results of the XX century. Reflection" II Siberian Museum Forum will take place on September 25-26, 2014, in Krasnoyarsk regional museum of local lore.

The Forum is being held under the patronage of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, with the assistance of the Presidents of the Union of Russian Museums and Russian Committee of the International Council of Museums, in the agenda of which are the following activities:

- "The Museums of Russia. The XX century’s outcome. Reflection" discussion panel. The panelists will debate the most complex problems of the formation of historical consciousness of Russians by the means of museum and consider the recommendations and methods of creating expositions reflecting the most "difficult" periods of national history of XX century.

- The third joint meeting of the Bureaux of the Union of Russian Museums and Russian Committee of the International Council of Museums.

- The opening of the Library of Russian Museums.

- The presentation of the new projects of Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum.

At the joint meeting of the Bureaux of Union of Russian Museums and Russian Committee of the International Council of Museums is planed to discuss the "One museum standard" project of Ministry of Culture of Russia.
