Society and book culture: The I Interregional Festival “The book in cultural space of the region” in Pskov

September 17-18, 2014 in the Pskov Regional Universal Scientific Library is held the I International Festival "The book in the cultural space of the region. The Pskov Autumn". The theme of the festival: "From St. Petersburg to Pskov. M. Y. Lermontov. Legacy".

In 2014, the festival is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of M. Y. Lermontov. The program includes a variety of cultural events: the presentation of the exhibition "Lermontov Petersburg", presentation of the program of the M. Y. Lermontov Interregional Library Cooperation Centre, dedicated to life and work of the poet, a solo performance by M. Morozov "Fun and hurt…" based on the works of M. Y. Lermontov.

The exhibition "Lermontov Petersburg" tells of St. Petersburg pages of life and work of the Great Russian poet. In the small format of the exhibition authors have tried to reflect the most striking Petersburg pages.
