Russian culture abroad: The Festival of Russian Culture held in India

The Festival of Russian Culture will be held in India in November - December 2014. The opening will be held in conjunction with the XX Session of the Intergovernmental Russian-Indian Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation under the supervision of the Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin.

The Festival will open in Delhi with a Dance Theatre performance "Gzhel". The program will include a tour of the State Academic Central Puppet Theatre of S. V. Obraztsov, performances by Quartet of Alexander Borodin, and also large-scale gala concert of artists of the Bolshoi, Mariinsky, Mikhailovsky Theatre and the Moscow Academic Musical Theatre by K. S. Stanislavsky and B. I. Nemirovich-Danchenko.
