International events: Photographs, reflected life of the Chinese province of Hubei, presented in Moscow
September 4, 2014 in the M. I. Rudomino All-Russian State Library (Moscow) opens the exhibition "Perfect Hubei". The event was organized within the framework of the Year of Culture in Russia and is prepared in collaboration with the Center for Chinese Culture in Moscow, the Department of Culture and the Library of Hubei Province in Hubei Province.
More than 100 photographs reflect various parts of life of the Chinese province. They introduce viewers with a rich history of Hubei – the main transport center of China. These photographs depict different historical stages of the region development: from ancient times to the present day.
The exhibition focuses on cultural characteristics and traditions of Hubei Province. The exposition features materials which present monuments of art, relating to such periods as Ching and the kingdom of Chu. A special place in the exhibition takes pictures, covering the development of the Chinese province of literature. A series of works about the first public library in China - the Library of Hubei Province, which has a history of over 100 years, is of special interest.
A number of photographs present a series of landscapes “Provinces of Thousand Lakes”. Their diversity reflects geographical features of Hubei, where mountains and hills give way to plains and sea.
The exhibition plays an important role in strengthening and development of partnership of the peoples of two countries. A part of the exposition is dedicated to the history of cooperation and friendship of Russia and China.
