International cooperation: Russia and Kazakhstan have agreed to cooperate in the field of culture

October 27 in Sochi as part of the XXIX session of the Council for Cultural Cooperation of states – participants of the CIS took pace the solemn signing of the cooperation in the field of culture between the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Culture and Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2014-2016.

Russia and Kazakhstan will establish bilateral cooperation in the field of visual and theatre art, cinema, library and museum, arts and crafts, amateur and circus arts, preservation of historical and cultural heritage objects, handicrafts.

In particular, the parties will develop a partnership between the museums of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan; to cooperate in the field of cinematography, to exchange information on accounting, the preservation, restoration and promotion of the use of historical and cultural heritage of Illegally Exported Cultural Objects of the other party; to promote the study of historical and cultural heritage of the peoples of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As part of the agreement is planned the organization o tours, the participation in international theatre festivals, held on the territory of these states, the performance of drama and musical theatres, art groups and individual artists as part of the Days and Weeks of Culture.
