Museums and society: The Scientific-Practical seminar “Actual problems of preservation of the museum fund of the Russian Federation” in Vologda

27-31 October 2014 the Ministry of Culture of Russia hosts the first Vologda Inter-regional seminar for museum workers of the Northwestern Federal District "Actual problems of preservation of the museum fund of the Russian Federation". 

The seminar brought together experts from the museums of the Russian Federation of the Republic of Komi, the Nenets Autonomous District, Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Kostroma, Murmansk and Yaroslavl regions.

It will consider:

- Actual problems of museology at the present stage and their solutions;

- Experience of the introduction of modern technology and electronic media in museum practice to ensure the safety and security of the storage of cultural property in the museums of the Russian Federation;

- The procedure for registration of documents in the case of a transfer of museum objects in the permanent and temporary use;

- The application of information technology in accounting and stock work, legal and organizational aspects of the museums under the Federal Law № 44-FZ of April 5, 2013 "On the contract system in the procurement of goods, works and services for state and municipal needs".

As part of the seminar will be held the round table "Ensuring public accounting museum values ​​using automated museum systems", master class "Practice, addressing issues of accounting and storage of museum values​​" are also scheduled expert advice.
