History of Russia: The Scientific-Practical Conference “The First World War and the Russian Society” in Moscow

October 16, 2014 the Moscow State Integrated Museum holds in the Palace of N. A. Durasova in Lublin a scientific-practical seminar "The First World War and the Russian society" dedicated to the centenary of the event.

The seminar will address issues related to the event history of the First World War, its reflection in the national culture and the arts, the official propaganda of the time. Special attention will be devoted to the perception of the military events of everyday life at the front and in the rear of their ordinary participants. The purpose of the Scientific-practical seminar is to summarize the complex facts related to the First World War.

Along with well-known facts, that have left a significant mark in the historical memory, is supposed to the story about subjects related today to the number of forgotten.
