Information technology and culture: The project “Electronic Library – one click to the books” presented in Dagestan

October 10, 2014 as part of the III book fair "Tarki-Tau" in the R. Gamzatov National Library of the Republic of Dagestan was presented the project "Electronic Library - one click to the books".

Minister of Press and Information of the Republic of Dagestan Aznaur Adzhiev noted that the event is of great importance for the development and dissemination of national literature in the digital space.

The project was implemented to provide access to the citizens of the republic of the world literature in electronic form, to the security of the Internet, textbooks, to the literature and information that does not contain negative content.

In the capital of the republic will be implemented the "street library and access to the public transport. The next stage is schools and possibly universities. As for the involvement of other cities and regions, first will be connected Makhachkala, in the second - Derbent, Khasavyurt, Caspiysk, and then other cities and regions.
