October 14, 2014 in the Pyatigorsk Regional Museum is opening the exhibition “Pyatigorsk, which saw Lermontov”.
The exhibition is timed to the 200th anniversary of the poet. The purpose is to tell about Pyatigorsk as a place of the great poet, how his name has affected the city’s history. To show how the memory of M. Y. Lermontov lives in modern city.
The exposition is based on the funds of the museum: authentic items of the first half of the XIX century, photographs, paintings, drawings, prints, souvenirs are presented.
