Russian culture abroad: “Russian Art Week” held in Birmingham

The State Center of Contemporary Art presents a project “Russian Art Week” which is held from October 13-18, 2014 at the Birmingham University (Great Britain) as part of the cross Year  of Culture of Great Britain and Russia.

The project will present the latest trends in the Russian contemporary art. During the "Russian Art Week" in the territory of one of the largest and most prestigious universities in the UK will be open an exhibition, the round table, master classes of artists, video screenings and conference. The interdisciplinary nature of the project will see different aspects of the socio-cultural situation in Russia.
