Memory of Russia: The Military-Historical Festival “Moscow 1941” at Borodino Field
The Military-Historical Festival "Moscow 1941", dedicated to the memory of the defenders of the Borodino field during the Great Patriotic War, is held at the Museum-Reserve "Borodino Field" (the Moscow region) on October 11-12, 2014.
The festival consists of two parts: a solemn ceremony dedicated to memory of the defenders of the Borodino field and the military reconstruction involving military-historical clubs.
The festival begins with a solemn ceremony at the monument-T-34 tank. At the end of the official part in the left of the monument-tank the clubs of military reconstruction provide an excellent opportunity for guests to feast plunge into distant events of the Great Patriotic War. Upgrade episodes of fierce fighting at Borodino - the culmination of the festival. Artillery guns, armored vehicles, pyrotechnic effects add a special reconstruction dynamism and realism.
