History and culture: The Historical-Cultural Forum of the Russian World in Veliky Novgorod

October 8-10, 2014 in Veliky Novgorod with the support of the "Russian world" takes place the Historical-Cultural Forum of the Russian world. The Forum's goal is the promoting the preservation and promoting the achievements of the national culture, cultural heritage with modern digital technology, maintaining the traditions of the multinational culture of the peoples of the Russian Federation. The Forum will bring together around 200 experts from leading Russian and foreign museums, libraries, universities and other cultural institutions.  

The program of the Forum provides plenary session, round table, the work of several sections.

The Forum will present competition of projects in the field of cultural heritage preservation. The outcome of the Forum will be the publication of art book - catalog of projects, which will include all of the materials presented at the Forum. The directory must be a collection of innovative projects in the field of preservation of cultural heritage of the Russian world. The album will be sent to the largest Russian and foreign museums, libraries, universities, and various cultural institutions.
