Russian regions: The Historical-Cultural Reserve to be created in Crimea

President of Russia Vladimir Putin instructed the Government to consider the establishment of a Historical-Cultural Reserve in Crimea. 

The report to the President on this issue should be submitted before March 1, 2015. Instructions have been issued after a meeting with cultural figures, which took place on 14 August.

Putin also instructed to develop a "system of program activities aimed at the development of arts and culture in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol". These activities, in particular, should be sent to "the preservation, study and promotion of the cultural heritage of the peoples of Crimea", as well as "the development of tourist activities". In order of legal regulatory of relations in this area is requested to develop a federal law.

In addition, the head of state is waiting for proposals for the development of the film industry on the basis of the property complex of the Yalta film studio.

Another order of the President - "to ensure the preservation of archaeological heritage in the design, construction and renovation on the Kerch Peninsula of transport infrastructure, communications and mass communications, energy and water".
