International conference: The Russian-British conference on technology in culture held in London

The conference “The growing role of technology in culture” opened on November 17 in London. It is organized by the Victoria and Albert Museum, the foundation Calvert 22, which is engaged in projects, related to modern art and culture in Russia, and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Great Britain. Among the participants are scientists and specialists from Russia and Great Britain, representatives of the largest Russian ad British museums.

The main agenda for London conference has become the role of digital technology in the development of museums, libraries and other cultural institutions. Presentations and discussions are focused on how digital media technologies can make cultural values available to the public, as well as expand the today's audience of museums.
