
Memorable dates of Russia: The exhibition “I love my Motherland – more than many” to the 200th birth anniversary of M. Y. Lermontov in Saratov
At the Museum-Estate of G. Chernyshevsky (Saratov) is opened the exhibition "I love my Motherland - and more than many" the 200th birth anniversary Mikhail Lermontov.
The exhibition "I love my Motherland and more than many" is not only a tribute to the great poet – the name of Lermontov is inextricably linked with the name of N. G. Chernyshevsky. Russian thinker and writer Lermontov assigned a very special place, apart from the works of the poet ultimate achievement of Russian artistic genius. Alignment of the poet, his beliefs, love for the country, and their own forms of expression - poetry and prose - all this finds an echo in the soul of Chernyshevsky.
The exhibition features prints and lithographs, copies of documents, books and magazines from the collections of the Museum-Estate of N. G. Chernyshevsky, figurines of soldiers and officers in the form of a sample of 1812, as well as the XIX century dueling pistol from a private collection of L. Morozov.
