Society and culture: The International Scientific Conference “Tchaikovsky and the XXI century: dialogues in time and space” in Moscow

The M. I. Glinka All-Russian Museum Association of Musical Culture (VMOMK) Glinka (Moscow) from 12 to 14 November 2014 holds the International scientific conference "Tchaikovsky and the XXI century: dialogues in time and space" as part of the action plan for the preparation and celebration of the 175- anniversary of Tchaikovsky.

Conference events are held at the Central Museum of Musical Culture, in the Museum "P. I. Tchaikovsky and Moscow" and the P. I. Tchaikovsky State Memorial Musical Museum-Reserve (Klin).

The conference invites leading experts, scientists, researchers, teachers and students of creative higher education institutions; representatives from museums, archives and documentation centers; representatives of publishing houses and media.

Among the topics of this conference - modern research issues of the creative heritage of P. I. Tchaikovsky, problems of heritage publication of the composer at the present stage, performing and theoretical interpretation, problem stage embodiment of the music of Tchaikovsky and others.
