Internet and society: Russian Internet Week 2014 held in Moscow

The largest event RIW 2014 (Russian Internet Week 2014) is held on November 12-14, 2014 in Moscow, on the site of Expocenter on Krasnaya Presna.

RIW 2014 – the main autumn event of three sectors at once (Internet, Media, Telecom), combining a multithreaded conference, media-communication forum, exhibition, as well as a variety of extracurricular events, awards, presentations and promo-actions.

RIW is the main annual exhibition and conference event of national sector of high technology. This is a place for meetings, communication, changes of experience and demonstration of achievements of Russian high tech industry and innovations (Internet, telecom, media). RIW – is also a platform for dialogue between the sector and the state. RIW – is a unique format for new projects, entrepreneurs and teams.

The exhibition is attended by more than 150 exhibitors, and 8 conference halls during three days will host meetings on actual problems of the Runet development, the number of speakers will be more than 600 people, professional participants – more than 4 000 people, during three days the exhibition will be attended by more than 20 000 participants.  

The event brings together experts and IT and media specialists, workers of Russian and foreign companies, government officials, representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, journalists, ordinary Internet-users.
