Russian culture abroad: The Festival of Russian Culture opened in India

The Festival of Russian Culture opened in New Delhi (India) on November 5, 2014. Cultural events will take place in several major cities of India. India will host nearly 100 Russian artists.

The Festival of Russian Culture will be held until December 22 in four Indian cities - Chandigarh, New Delhi, Calcutta and, presumably, Jaipur.

According to the adviser on culture of the Russian Embassy in India Nana Mgeladze previously between the Ministry of Culture of Russia and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations was "signed a protocol on the organization of the Festival of Russian Culture in India in 2014 and the Festival of Indian Culture in Russia in 2015".
