The Minister of Culture of Russia Vladimir Medinsky during his working trip to the Ryazan region praised the idea of creating a tourism cluster in the homeland of the poet Sergei Yesenin in the village Konstantinovo.

Vladimir Medinsky learnt in detail about the project to create an entry zone to the village Konstantinovo. Building entry zone, on the one hand, can recreate the historical appearance of the motherland of S. A. Yesenin, on the other - to provide comfortable conditions for tourists visiting the museum-reserve. It is planned to build a single set of administrative building and storage facility, network engineering, to create a modern tourist infrastructure.

The Minister supported the initiative of forming a cultural heritage site. "The main task - to make this place as comfortable and attractive for people to provide the necessary infrastructure, accommodation, meals, museum expansion, thus making it an international tourist destination, has a positive impact, including the filling of the regional budget", - said Vladimir Medinsky. The Minister noted that the Ryazan land has much to be proud of. "And it's not just Yesenin, not only ancient city that has preserved its historic, merchant and ecclesiastical buildings. This is the spirit of the Ryazan land. I would really like Ryazan was a popular destination among tourists to come here more often to Muscovites and visitors from other cities of our country. You have what to see, eat, something to learn, there is something to be proud of", - said Vladimir Medinsky.
