Society and culture: The Festival “Literature – spiritual and moral foundation of Russia” held in Ulyanovsk

The National Festival of pedagogical skills “Literature - spiritual and moral foundation of Russia” is held in the Ulyanovsk region. It is attended by representatives of 50 regions of the country, including members of the leading schools and universities, writers, public figures, and members of the All-Russian public organization “Association of Teachers of the Russian Language and Literature”.

“Teaching of the Russian Language and Literature is a serious and very responsible job. It is these disciplines largely shape the outlook of teenagers, inculcate in them the qualities of patriotism and citizenship, respect for our national cultural, spiritual, historical heritage", - said the chairman of the Association of Teachers of the Russian Language and Literature in Moscow, a member of the Public Chamber of Russia Roman Doschinsky. According to him, the main purpose of the event - to develop a common approach to the most important professional issues.

The festival program included the II Congress of the Association of Teachers of the Russian language and Literature and the IV National Festival of Regional Teacher Clubs.
