To the Day of National Unity: "My History. Rurikovichs" exhibition in Moscow

From the 4th to the 20th of November 2014, in Manege Central Exhibition Hall (Moscow) goes the "Orthodox Russia - to the Day of National Unity. My history. Rurikovichs" XIII church and public exhibition-forum.

The exhibition will become one of the major events in celebration of National Unity Day in Russia.

A whole history of Ancient Russia with its ups and downs, the seven centuries length road revealed in 18 halls with a total multimedia area of 4,000 square meters.

Created by historians, artists together with the experts of the modern computer technology field events of " Primary Chronicle" will literally come alive before an audience. Visitors will witness a fascinating narration about a history of ancient trade routes and legendary battles, the secrets of fortified castles and the great victories, the little-known historical facts of the period of fragmentation and the Mongol invasion. The exploits of heroes and diplomats, examples of holiness, sacrificial love for the homeland and the bitter lessons of apostasy and betrayal - these and much more will be presented to spectators. Widely known and forgotten chapters of history will become for a curious observer an unexpected key to understanding the present.

Revered icon of St. Sergius of Radonezh will be brought from the Trinity-Sergius Lavra to the exhibition.
