Russian regions: Photo exhibition “People. Events. Facts. Year 2014” opened in Astrakhan

On the eve of the New Year in the residence of Governor of the Astrakhan region opened an annual photo exhibition "People. Events. Facts. Year 2014". It features more than 60 works by 15 Astrakhan photographs.

By tradition, the exhibition includes photographs reflecting the most striking socio-political and socio-cultural events of the year. The main of them - the Olympic Torch Relay, the IV Summit of Heads of Caspian states.

Among the works devoted to cultural events can be distinguished an International Puppet Festival of Caspian states "Caspian Coast", an international festival of ballet schools in the world, the opening of the monument to Taras Shevchenko, the premiere of the opera "Prince Igor".

Many works have been devoted to socio-cultural and sports facilities, which were opened in 2014.

After closing the photo exhibition it is planned its exposition in one of the exhibition halls of the city and cultural and leisure facilities of municipal districts.
