Museums of Russia: The Museum of Cinema to appear on the territory of the VDNKh

The Ministry of Culture of Russia is considering the possibility of placing the Museum of Cinema in the territory of the updated VDNKh, said the head of department Vladimir Medinsky during a visit to a new building of the Museum of Literature, together with Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

According to V. Medinsky, on the territory of VDNKh is also planned to create a Ministry of Culture, exhibition hall and the pavilion of the Russian Military-Historical Society.

In his turn, S. Sobyanin said that VDNKh will hosts a permanent exposition of the Romanovs and Rurik, which previously were held in the "Arena". He also said that the Moscow government plans to set up other two or three museums at VDNKh.
