
Exhibitions: The objects, created for the opening ceremony of the XXII Olympic Winter Games, presented in Moscow
VDNkH (Moscow) presents the main winter event of the year - an exhibition of objects created for the opening ceremony of the XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi - "Mechanics of a miracle". On December 20, 2014 until the middle of spring 2015 in the historic pavilion "Space" will be exhibited unique costumes, scenery and props, submitted three billion people on Earth images of Russia.
For the first time the original scenery of the spectacular show in the history of mankind can be seen close and even been touched. The size of some items is so large that can accommodate them unless a huge pavilion "Space". Visitors will consider in detail the medieval sun and constellations athletes; tractors, cranes and flying locomotive supremacist ballet; video projection and layout of the Olympic Stadium "Fischt".
Troika of the height of the Khrushchev five-storey building will be located in the dome of the pavilion. Olympic rings, snowflakes, too big even for the "Cosmos", will be installed on the square in front of the legendary Industry pavilion.
"Mechanics of a miracle" demonstrates not only the technical side of the structure, but also masterpieces of Russian fine and applied arts, inspired to create the image of our country.
The aim of the exhibition "Mechanics miracle" – is to present original decorations and unique technical methods, immerse the viewer in context and to show the inverse images of scenery, objects, costumes and dance compositions.
First the show of this scale was devised and staged in Russia. In this case, manufacturers of decorative and technical elements were companies from around the world. The opening ceremony was awarded the Grand Prix National Award "Event of the Year", the Russian national television award "Taffy", four nominations and one award for lighting design the world's major television of the award Emmys 2014.
