Society and book culture: The exhibition, dedicated to the 185th anniversary of the publication of the A. S. Pushkin’s poem “Poltava”, in Krasnoyarsk

The department of Rare Books and Book Science of the State Universal Scientific Library of the Krasnoyarsk region in 2014 completes the exhibition dedicated to the 185th anniversary of the publication of A. S. Pushkin’s poem "Poltava".

A historical poem "Poltava", written by Pushkin in 1828, did not have such a statement in all its modern European poetry, not to mention the Russian; Pushkin insisted on its originality.

The exhibition includes a copy of the first edition in vivo "Poltava" in 1829, as well as some books that served as sources for the creation of Pushkin's poem. Submitted copies of the book are monuments and are similar to those with which Pushkin worked.

Visitors can also see rare editions of "Poltava", published in the XX century - beautifully decorated, anniversary, released in small quantities.

The exhibition will run until January 29, 2015.
