President of Russia: Vladimir Putin noted a successful Olympiad in Sochi at the news conference

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin during a news conference in Moscow said that he was pleased with the Olympic Games in Sochi.

“All we wanted to achieve during the preparation for the Olympiad we managed to do. We won the Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games, thank again to our athletes”, - said the head of state.

The President note that Olympic objects will be used after the Games. “In some countries the Olympic Parks are empty, but we have foreseen everything. Already at the end of December and up to February, all the objects are busy, - said Vladimir Putin. - We have a new year-round relaxation and rehabilitation center. We will hold other major events there, will develop children's sports”.
