Society and media: The conference “Printed media in a multipolar world” held in the format of a teleconference with Russian regions

The final branch conference “Printed media in a multipolar world” is held on December 18, 2014 in a format of teleconference. The main venue is five cities of Russia. The central platform of the teleconference is in Moscow in the publishing house “Arguments and Facts”.

The conference is held by the Guild of Publishers with the support of the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications. According to the plans of organizers, the final discussion will bring together more than 500 people - in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk and Kaliningrad. On-line publishers of federal and regional printed media, senior and mid-level ID and media holdings, the State Duma deputies, representatives of the regional branch departments and offices will discuss the real state of the print media.

To discuss the results of 2014, tendencies, to change experience, as well as negative experience, to identify prospects of the development – will be possible at the Conference – a teleconference between publishers and representatives of authorities, who is responsible for the media.

It is worth noting that the results of the branch in such a format are held for the first time.
