Society and book culture: The XII International Book Forum “Russian West” to be held in April 2015 in Pskov

In the year of the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory, the Year of Literature on April 14-16, 2015 in Pskov will be held the XII International Book Forum "Russian West". The forum is traditionally organized by the Pskov Regional Universal Scientific Library.

The International Book Forum "Russian West" - an annual cultural event in support of books and reading Pskov region. Forum - a model of innovative development of regional activities in the North-West of Russia, near and far abroad as a single space support and development of book publishing, book distribution, tourism.

The International Book Forum "Russian West" helps to strengthen cultural traditions, maintain and enhance the conditions for partnerships in business (publishers, book retailers), to use historical and cultural resources in tourist activity and the formation of an attractive image of the Pskov region and the city of Pskov, expand cultural and educational capabilities of the local community.

As part of the book forum are held: book fair, where publishing houses and bookstore organizations can submit their books and sell it; creative meetings with writers, master classes, presentations, promotions and educational and entertainment programs.
