
On the Day of the Constitution of the Russian Federation: the Events in the Cities of Russia
The Day of the Constitution of the Russian Federation is celebrated on December 12. A speech of congratulations on Constitution Day of Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko is published on the Federation Council’s website.
It reads: "Over the past two decades, the Basic Law of our country has become a solid foundation for socio-economic development of the country, the legal platform strengthening, the formation of civil society institutions, and for human rights and freedoms guarantee. The Constitution explored the new opportunities for saving of spiritual values, the development of culture and best traditions of the peoples of our multinational Russia."
As Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko will participate in the ceremony of handing the passports to young citizens of the Russian Federation.
By tradition, on the Day of the Russian Constitution, within the "We are the Citizens of Russia" nationwide move of Russian Youth Union the main document of a citizen of the Russian Federation will be handed to the students of cadet schools and the winners of school and children's academic and art competitions.
Various events in the honor of this remarkable day are happening in the regions of the Russian Federation.
Thus, "From the History of the State and Local Symbols of Russia" exhibition were launched in the Pyatigorsk Local Lore Museum.
The exhibition from the collections of the Local Lore Museum corresponds to a small exposition, which shows symbols of different eras. The changes in the state symbols and awards can be traced to from the Imperial to contemporary Russia. Medals, tokens, briefs the Constitution, national anthem and even the State Emblem of the USSR sign at the border post can be seen in this exhibition, fitting more then a single historical period. Local symbols in the form of Pyatigorsk coat of arms and flag of Stavropol Territory have also found their place in this exciting exhibition.
Barnaul Library Branch №15 invites you to visit the legal exhibition titled "Learning and Must be a Citizen" that is organized on the occasion of the Constitution Day. The exhibition presents the text of the Constitution of the Russian Federation as well as various encyclopedias and reference books on constitutional law, the books focused at the state symbols of Russia and the history of the Constitution.
"Living by Law and for Justice" and "Law what we Live by" exhibitions are presented at the libraries of the Yelets Town Centralized Library System.
