History and culture: The exhibition ‘Russian icon: from the Middle Age to Modern times” in Zvenigorod

In Zvenigorod in "Tsaritsyno Chambers" of the Zvenigorod Historical and Architectural Museum opened an exhibition "Russian icon from the Middle Ages to Modern times", which presents a full-size copy of the icons in Zvenigorod by Andrei Rublev, the original of which is included in the permanent exhibition of the State Tretyakov Gallery.

The exhibition features fragments of original frescoes, the creation of which according to specialists was made by A. Rublev. 

The exhibition is organized together with the State Research Institute of Restoration.
