International events: The International conference “Public Diplomacy for Eurasian Integration” launched in Moscow

December 3, 2014 in Moscow started working the International Conference "Public Diplomacy for Eurasian integration", organized by the Rossotrudnichestvo.

Plenary session was opened by the leader of the Agency Konstantin Kosachev.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov has sent his greetings to the guests and participants of the event.

The event was attended by over 130 leading experts, representatives of public authorities, journalists, political scientists, cultural figures and representatives of societies of friendship from Russia, CIS countries, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Georgia, Bulgaria and Serbia.

The conference will include two breakout sessions that will focus on the Eurasian socio-economic, informational, cultural and humanitarian aspects of public diplomacy and the role of youth and youth NGOs as a factor in long-term development of Eurasian integration.
