Internet and museums: New Tsaritsyno State National Park and Museum’s website is launched

A new website of the Tsaritsyno State National Park and Museum is opened.

The main objective of new site is to help visitors to figure out the complex and diverse structure of the national park and museum, to tell about expositions and exhibitions and to introduce the greatest Tsaritsyno value - the architectural and park ensemble of the XVIII century.

The website’s design is based at a new identity, an idea of which was inspired by the drawings and the renderings of decorative elements of the buildings of Vasily Bazhenov  - the first architect of the palace complex in Tsaritsyno.

The museum funds, based on collection of arts and crafts (currently, one of the country’s best), will be presented on the site in full. The Images of artifacts are made in the resolution, which allows to examine even the smallest details, and are accompanied by detailed, but at the same time very clear commentaries of the collections’ keepers - the research staff employees of the museum.

The special attention on the new site is given to the museum’s Greenhouse complex, due to the fact that it shelters such the kinds of plants that were grown in the Tsaritsino’s greenhouses in the middle of the XVIII century. Moreover, it is the only Moscow greenhouse complex, which is used for its given purpose. At the special section of website users could find out about the exhibitions, guided tours and workshops for children and adults that take place in the greenhouses.

Also, the new site offers a convenient event schedule with the program of each concert, artist information and the functional of buying tickets online.

"Tsaritsyn Encyclopedia" section is dedicated to a fascinating history of Tsaritsyno, based on a unique project, which is the result of the years of the museum staff’s researche work on collection and systematization of the proper facts about the people and events associated with the Tsaritsyno.

According to the Tsaritsyno National Park and Museum’s CEO of Natalia Samoilenko, "a new website became an essential element of the strategy of the museum’s renovation. The first step in this direction was the creation of the new museum’s identity. The next step - the creation of the website itself: a convenient and friendly to visitors, providing up-to-date and reliable information and letting the users confidently navigate in a variety of opportunities offered by the national park and museum".
