Memory of the World: "Remember. The Nazi Crimes" exhibition in Moscow

"Remember. The Nazi Crimes. The liberation Mission of the Red Army in Europe" multimedia exhibition of the Russian Military-historical Society opens on January 29, 2015, in New Manege (Moscow).

This exposition is the collective author’s product of the People's Artists of Russia Vasily Nesterenko and Salavat Shcherbakov. The exhibition is presented in nine thematically organized halls: "The Nazi Sazes Power", "Mass Repressions. Concentration Camps", "Mass Repressions. Nazism with Power", "Mass Extermination and Awful Look of Fascism", "Fascism Crimes Against Humanity", "Mortal Combat and the Price of Victory", "World’s Relieve of Fascist Plague. Victory", "Memory". According to Vasily Nesterenko, the concept of the exhibition is to show the three sides of the tragedy - Nazi war criminal, the Nazi’s victims and Soviet soldier.

"This exhibition is unusual, combining a multimedia and a unique museum exhibits. We would like to remind our fellow people and to tell younger ones what price had our country paid for the victory, what it would be like, if German fascism had taken over, and how was the liberation of Europe happening in fact" - as Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky stated at the press conference covering the exhibition opening on January 26, 2015.

After the exhibition will be shown in Moscow it will travel throughout Russia - St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Crimea and other cities. The question on its appear abroad is concerned, there is a preliminary agreement with China. Later, the exhibition will be digitized and its virtual copy will be fully represented on the Russian Military and Historical Society’s website.

The exhibition in New Manege will remain open to the public from 30th of January to the 10th of March 2015.
