Society and culture: The exhibition, dedicated to the architectural monuments of the middle XX century, in Moscow

The Museum of Moscow from January 23, 2015 features a new exhibition - "Clarity of purpose", dedicated to the architectural monuments of the last century.

Mikhail Rozanov, the author of the photo project, exposes artistic analysis of truly iconic and symbolic Soviet structures, presenting them as an ideal carrier of the architectural image of the USSR. At the heart of the exposition is the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the M. V. Frunze Military Academy and the ENEA - as a model of the inverse image of the world "country of victorious socialism".

The Moscow Museum opens its archives, presenting details of monumental Soviet art, revealing the city. Personal experience of "ideological fairy tale" by Mikhail Rozanov, enshrined in his photographs, the exhibition echoes the signs of collective experience, objects from the museum: propaganda porcelain, banners, sculpture of 1930-1960s.
