Libraries and society: The registration to the II International Bibliographic Congress completed

The II International Bibliographic Congress under the motto is “Bibliography: Look into the Future” will be held at the State Russian Library on October 6-9, 2015 (Moscow, Russia). 

The organizers of the congress – the Russian State Library, the National Library of Russia, the Presidential Library, he Russian Book Chamber, the Russian Library Association, the Library Assembly of Eurasia – say that application to participate at the Congress are accepted:

- To attend a presentation with a report - before 1 February 2015 (up to 15 June 2015, the Congress participants will be informed of the inclusion (or not included) in their reports to the Congress program);

- To participate without the report - up to August 1, 2015

Two plenary sessions and several section meetings on the following issues are planned:

1. General problems of bibliography theory and practice

2. Bibliographic record as a basis of bibliographic resources creation

3. Universal bibliographic resources

4. Information and bibliographic support of science, education and culture

5. Bibliographic support of free development of individual

6. Information and bibliographic service and user training

7. Regional Studies Bibliography (the section will be held at the XVI All-Russian scientific-practical seminar "Problems of regional studies in libraries" (Perm, October 5-8, 2015) on the basis of the M. Gorky Perm State Regional Library. Registration for this section at: kray@nlr.ru).
