Exhibitions: The exposition “Crimean stories” in Moscow

The Central House of Architect in Moscow hosts the exhibition “Crimean stories”. The nature of Tauride in canvases was glorified by Aivazovsky and Korovin, Voloshin and Levitan. This tradition was continued in Soviet times as well.

The exhibition features 150 works of different generations, created over the past 75 years. Some of them are made recently. Last October the project “New wanderers” united artists of different genres of joint trip to the Black Sea coast. The result of the Crimean open-air has become a series of works, depicted the beauty of nature, which has a strong influence of the formation of Russian culture and art. Organizers and participants of the opening day are sure: this exposition is a good start to revive cultural and art tradition which contains the Crimean peninsula.
