Internet and culture: Virtual project “Read aloud” at the website of the Astrakhan Regional Children’s Library

In the Year of Literature in Russia-2015 at the website of the Astrakhan Regional Children’s Library is continued the virtual project “Read aloud”. Library workers record video, where they read favorite children works. 

The project was created in order to help readers to learn about the classics of children literature, as well as to revive a tradition of reading aloud.

The website of the library features video for kids, for adolescent. Depending on the age and changing the set pieces. Kids are read poems by A. Barto, S. Mikhalkov, K. Chukovsky, Russian folk tales. Older guys - stories by A. Usachev, Leo Tolstoy, S. Kozlov and other children's authors. Adolescents got familiar with the work of Astrakhan poets. Now the younger generation has additional opportunity to get acquainted with the literature that goes beyond the school curriculum.

The project “Read aloud” continues a series of events to develop Internet space through the library.
