Russian regions: The International festival of cultural and educational projects “Derbent: 2000 years at the crossroads of cultures”

The Rasul Gamzatov Khasavyurt Central City Library announces the launch of the International Festival of cultural and educational projects "Derbent: 2000 years at the crossroads of cultures", coinciding with the celebration of the 2000th anniversary of Derbent, which will be celebrated in September 2015 in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation.

The main objective of a large-scale project is to promote the dissemination of objective information about the unity of the peoples of multinational Russia, the development of effective methods of studying the history of Russia and its modernity, the development of cooperation between Russian and foreign cultural and educational institutions and organizations in the promotion of Russian culture, a climate of international respect. With the technology of games, travel involved in the project children, adolescents and young people of various regions of the Russian Federation and foreign countries will get an idea about the unique culture and literature of Dagestan.

To participate in the international festival of cultural and educational projects are invited libraries, educational institutions and associations of citizens of the Russian Federation and foreign countries. Participants of the festival, the organizers propose to hold with representatives of the target groups of the project during the period from May 4 to July 19, 2015 for one week-game tour of the literature about the history and culture of Derbent. July 1, 2015, each participant of a share must be open in the Internet (on the platform blogspot.com) diary of his author's project, where you can place the analytical notes on its implementation, reference and training materials, reports from past events, interviews, reviews, photos, videos, as well as other related information.

On the basis of developed by festival participants intelligent entertainments (literary games, historical quiz, educational coloring and so on) is supposed to create, submit publicly available in the Internet and publish a paper-based book "Ancient Derbent - an outpost of Russia".

To identify the most interesting games-travels will be established international commission of experts from the well-known figures of science, culture and art, respected public figures, popular journalists. With a simple and transparent scoring system evaluation of the tasks of the competition experts not later August 2, 2015 will announce authors of the most inventive of competitive projects.
