History and culture: The exhibition “From Christmas to Epiphany: Holy Nights” in Saint-Petersburg

The Museum of the History of Religion (St. Petersburg) until January 28, 2015 hosts an exhibition "From Christmas to Epiphany: the Holy Nights", which shows the spectrum of subjects, including the brightest Russian winter holidays - Christmas Eve, Christmas time, New Year, Christmas, Epiphany - and reflected in the printed graphics and painting of the XIX-XXI centuries from the museum.

The feature of the exhibition is paintings by contemporary artists from St. Petersburg V. A. Tatarenko and S. E. Bessonov on the theme of Christmas and Epiphany.
