25 February 2015

February 25, 2015 at the State Tretyakov Gallery in the Crimean Val (Moscow) will be launched a multimedia exhibition "The State Tretyakov Gallery. Art of the XX century" on the facade of the museum.

The grand launch of the exhibition will be attended by Minister of Culture of Russia Vladimir Medinsky and director of the State Tretyakov Gallery Zelfira Tregulova.

On the screens installed on the facade of the museum, on the twenty-four hour basis will be shown the permanent exhibition of 22 masterpieces - works by Natalia Goncharova, Kazimir Malevich, Wassily Kandinsky and works by contemporary artists.

Placing of screens makes the museum building visible and says that beyond these walls is the State Tretyakov Gallery, which represents a unique panorama of Russian art of the XX century.

This is the first step in a new phase of development of the State Tretyakov Gallery in the Crimean Val. Future plans include the upgrading the interior space gallery, the opening of the entrance to the Crimean embankment, turning the yard into the public space.
