World history: Pictures by officers of the Russian Empire can be seen at the exhibition in Stockholm

The exhibition “The First World War” is opened in Stockholm. The exposition, presented at the Museum of Army, has been prepared by the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of Russia.

Visitors of the exhibition had got the opportunity to see the black-and-white photos and color posters, which were digitized and enlarged to the size of billboards. This allows seeing the smallest details of the images.

The exhibitions, timed to this date, are held in many cities of the world. The Museum of Army of Swedish capital will host such expositions from countries-participants of war during four years.  In 2017 in its premises will be held the scientific conference, which purpose is the attempt to understand and evaluate the events of the war in the century-long perspective in terms of member states.
