To the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory: The exhibition “Medals, orders…Not for the sake of honor” in Nizhny Tagil

From February 19 until May, 10, 2015 in the Nizhny Tagil Museum of Fine Arts is running the exhibition “Medals, orders…Nor for the sake of honor and glory” dedicated to the 70^th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic War.

The exposition features works devoted to orders, beginning from the Peters era and to the XX century. A large section of the exposition is dedicated to the 70^th anniversary of Victory, which includes portraits of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. The exhibition features the public about those medals and orders, which were awarded at that severe time. 

In the context of the exhibition are included real orders and medals, photographs and stories of those who were awarded, provided by veterans and their heirs. Private documents allow the public to learn about personal stories of participants of the Great Patriotic War, to find out what they had to endure during those tragic years.
