To the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory: The exhibition “Military chronicle of P. N. Krylov – Kukryniksy” in Tula
The P. N. Krylov Museum in Tula hosts the exhibition “Military chronicle of P. N. Krylov – Kukryniksy”.
The exhibition is timed to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory and presents the work of Porphyry Nikitich Krylov during the Great Patriotic War. The exhibition features rarely exhibited works from the museum: sketches and studies of P. N. Krylov for the painting "Tanya", drawings made by the artist at the Nuremberg Trials, as well as the painting "In the box", embodying the trial of Nazi war criminals - this work was presented to museum of the eldest son of P. N. Krylov to the centenary of the artist.
The exhibition also features rare pictures of war times from the archives of the State Film Fund.
The exhibition will run until April 15, 2015.
